The Paraprofessional/1:1 Aide position is crucial in supporting students with special needs. This role involves providing small group or one-on-one behavioral and academic support tailored to the specific needs outlined in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Paraprofessional will work closely with staff to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans, ensuring that student learning and classroom behavior goals are met. Additionally, the aide will confer and collaborate with teachers to ensure that accommodations are effectively implemented in inclusive settings, contributing valuable input for the students' IEPs. This position is essential in fostering an inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive.
