About The Position

The Paraplanner provides essential support to financial advisors by assisting with financial plan preparation, conducting product research, and managing client records. This role ensures advisors can focus on client-facing activities while maintaining high-quality service and efficiency in the financial planning processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of financial industry experience.

• Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

• Ability to analyze and research information.
• Plenty of drive, initiative and motivation.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Experience working with financial advisors, branch and home office support teams.
• Certificate in Paraplanning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for clients.
• Client data management, organizing and maintaining client records in CRM and financial planning software.
• Preparing financial statements, annual reviews of client financial plans and ensuring compliance with document management.
• Conduct research on financial product and services, analyze client needs, and prepare reports for financial advisors.
• Administrative support to financial advisors, including managing schedules, inbound calls, responding to emails, and taking notes during meetings.
• Ensure all files and records are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with advisor to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
