About The Position

This role is intentionally structured as a developmental pathway to a Financial Advisor position within the firm. The Paraplanner / Associate Wealth Relationship Manager strengthens our planning capacity while building the technical confidence and communication skills required of an Advisor. In the near term, this position focuses on financial plan preparation, analysis, and meeting support. Over time, individuals in this role progressively assume greater responsibility in client meetings and relationship management. You will work closely with experienced Advisors and Planners who provide mentorship, feedback, and support as you grow into increased client-facing responsibility. Advancement is based on demonstrated readiness, professional development, and firm needs. This is an opportunity for someone who values preparation, precision, and long-term professional growth within an established advisory practice.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services or financial planning support
  • Working knowledge of financial planning fundamentals
  • Familiarity with individual tax planning concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organization and follow-through
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to grow into a client-facing advisory role
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a team-based service model
  • High integrity and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fee-based Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with CRM and planning systems (Junxure/AdvisorEngine, eMoney or similar preferred)
  • Familiarity with Fidelity and Charles Schwab institutional platforms a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and validate client financial data in eMoney and AdvisorEngine
  • Support retirement income planning, executive benefits analysis, tax coordination, education funding, risk management, and estate considerations
  • Prepare financial planning materials and projections in collaboration with Advisors
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and workflow completion
  • Prepare materials for review meetings and annual planning discussions
  • Attend client meetings and document next steps
  • Coordinate follow-up items across planning, tax, and operations teams
  • Gradually assume responsibility for portions of client conversations as skills develop
  • Develop deep familiarity with client goals, family structures, and financial priorities
  • Support Advisors in ongoing relationship stewardship
  • Build confidence explaining financial concepts clearly and professionally
  • Progress toward leading portions of client reviews under mentorship
  • Coordinate with CSAs, Advisors, Tax, and Investment teams to ensure timely execution
  • Support account setup and service requests as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and regulatory standards
