Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. Requirements

  • Some coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study preferred.
  • Some project experience in software development.
  • Familiarity with Java, C#, or other related programming language preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for highly efficient data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proven track record of becoming a subject matter expert in areas related to current assignments.
  • Effective communication skills with business users and other developers.

  • Cloud native development experience, preferably with AWS.
  • A creative, self-confident self-motivator with a 'can do' spirit.
  • Passionate, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design, development, and integration of technology solutions to support all aspects of our equity investments platform.
  • Leverage new and existing technologies to build and maintain services that scale the platform, including on-prem systems and cloud native AWS micro services.

Benefits

  • Hourly salary of $31.25.
  • Intern roles are not eligible for benefits.
