Working under the direction of the ED Physician, this role provides rapid assessment, triage, and treatment to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic Certificate issued by the State of Colorado required
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment
- Must have an American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certification within 6 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient triage, assessments, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
- Administer medications and assist physicians with exams and emergency procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team
- Accurately document patient care, treatments, and medications in the electronic health records
- Operate medical equipment and support diagnostic testing to ensure quality patient care
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Benefits
- Pay Range: $18.90 - $28.35/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends, and other incentive pay available.
- PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary
