The Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies, including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatric emergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; and other emergencies. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family for each other and our patients and their families HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 323-bed facility. We are located in the heart of Ocala, Florida. Our hospital is a part of Ocala Health. Our facility is an ACS Level I Trauma Center. We are the regions only Comprehensive Stroke Center. Requirements

State of Florida Paramedic License
One (1) year of experience preferred
Knowledge of body substance isolation
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

Practice, develop and endorse customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
Serves as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patient ' s right to privacy by protecting confidential information.
Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on a total assessment and the age of the patient.
Evaluate and document patient response; monitor and recognize changes in physiological and psychosocial status; take appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system .
