About The Position

LifeLine Ambulance, one of Washington State’s only remaining Primary 911 Response Companies, is offering a Full-Time Paramedic position within its Primary 911 Response System across Wenatchee Valley, Okanogan Valley, and Grant County. This role provides the opportunity to practice and challenge Paramedic skills. Employees benefit from a schedule designed for optimal work-life balance, allowing for participation in various outdoor recreational activities year-round, such as rock climbing, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding. The company embraces a rural lifestyle with a slower pace and approximately 300 days of sunshine annually. The work schedule is a generous two days on, six days off, with flexible scheduling and a mix of Primary 911 calls across multiple locations. Employees are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and work from first-class stations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs.
  • Ability to pass Washington State drivers check.
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Ability to interpret local ALS protocols, company policies and procedures, and apply them in specific situations.
  • Active Washington State EMT-Paramedic Certification with DOH/or completed Paramedic Training and awaiting agency affiliation to complete certification
  • Current AHA healthcare provider CPR, ACLS, PALS
  • Maintain/Possess current Washington State driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • EMT-Paramedic experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.
  • Report verbally and in writing/electronically, observations and emergency medical care of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit, to the receiving medical facility staff for purposes of records and diagnostics.
  • Assume responsibility for EMS scene in the absence of higher level staff, provide direction and supervision to other employees at an emergency medical scene; provide and direct advance life support patient care and transport.
  • Operate and maintain emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
