Performs emergency and stabilizing procedures using protocols as directed by the EMS Medical Director and independent judgment. Responds to emergency and routine requests for transportation to and from medical facilities Works well with other employees, health care providers, and public safety officials and maintains a patient or customer service focus. Provides didactic and clinical instruction to coworkers, health care providers or the public as needed. Demonstrates effective leadership and management of specialized situations. Provides documentation and records as appropriate. Maintains equipment, supplies and facilities. Performs related tasks as required.
