About The Position

You will be taking ambulance calls and working in the hospital emergency department. Crew quarters are available for sleeping. Schedule: 12 hour rotating days/nights from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. Work your primary 12 hour shift with call for the other 12 hour shift. Rotate every other weekend/holiday. Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. Provides emergency medical treatment to sick or injured patients, under the direction and supervision of physician and leaders, in accordance with established standards of performance, philosophy and objectives. Documents and reports observations and treatments provided to physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff, in support of patient care activities.

Responsibilities

Collects patient health data from patients, referring healthcare providers and patient charts.
Analyzes the collected data to assist in determining diagnoses and area of problem focus.
Identifies expected outcomes and goals, individualized to the patient, and develops a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcome.
Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.
Performs required documentation and participates in quality control activities to support patient care.
Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes and utilizes establishes protocols for patient care.
Systemically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of practice.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge in practice, procedures, and care.
Collaborates with the patient, significant others, and health care providers to provide appropriate patient care.
