Your Impa ct: The Paramedic provides direct effective patient care to patients in the Windham Hospital Paramedic primary service area. Must be able to respond safely while operating emergency vehicle and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to care for a variety of patient groups in the Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support setting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • State of CT Paramedic License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in busy 911 systems
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • The Paramedic provides direct effective patient care to patients in the Windham Hospital Paramedic primary service area.
  • Must be able to respond safely while operating emergency vehicle and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to care for a variety of patient groups in the Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support setting.
