About The Position

A small community hospital located near Chariton, Iowa is seeking full-time Paramedics to join their growing team! The Paramedic Job Opportunity Description: Full-time, direct hire opportunity Night shift, weekends or weekdays, 12 hour shifts with on call schedule Great emergency leadership and administration team! Excellent benefits package and competitive pay Provides pre-hospital care for the ill and injured patients through assessment, intervention, and ambulance transportation, according to the protocols established by the medical director. Cross-trains to Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Room and Medical Surgical floor to provide assistance as requested in a timely and cooperative manner. Assures daily ambulance checks of inventory, restocking, disinfecting, cleaning and maintenance of all ambulances are performed. Requirements

Current and unrestricted State of Iowa Paramedic Specialist Certificate
Mandatory Reporting and BLS certified or within 90 days of hire
Valid and unrestricted Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Preferable to have previous paramedic / EMS experience

Responsibilities
