About The Position

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of Paramedic training.

Requirements

• High School
• Completion of a State Approved Paramedic Program as evidenced by primary source of verification.
• Current valid drivers license
• Current Georgia certification
• ACLS
• BLS
• CPR required
• Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of training.
• A working knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate, and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted.
