About The Position

Provides comprehensive care to ill and/or injured patients of all ages at special events such as concerts, sporting events, mass gathering events, and trade shows. Applies advanced knowledge and training, develops and executes a plan of care, and rapidly intervene in life-saving procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year Active, pre-hospital paramedic experience.
• Ability to stay rational for clinical decisions based on advanced training.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association Upon Hire
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association Upon Hire
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
• PA EMT-P Paramedic - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or Paramedic - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
• DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree
• 3 years EMSVO - Emergency Medical Service Vehicle Operator - Emergency Health Services Federation

Responsibilities

• Provides directions and guidance to others regarding medical practice; serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor.
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for patient and flight crew.
• Utilizes MedEvac SOPs for care delivery.
• Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice.
• Utilizes advanced assessment and stabilization skills in the provision of patient care.
