SCOPE OF WORK: Oversees daily functioning of instructional labs. To assist primary instructor with psychomotor instruction based on National Registry guidelines of instructor/student ratio. This position shall report to the Department Chair for Fire Science Technologies. This position works up to 8 hours a week on Wednesdays year round. Interested candidates should apply through our website: https://www.lrcc.edu/about/employment-opportunities/ ACCOUNTABILITIES: Under the direction of the instructor, assists with the instruction of courses and/or labs within the Emergency Medical Services program. Works with the instructor to ensure that instructor that course goals and objectives are met, and that students learning needs are addressed; Oversees students engaged in learning activities and provides feedback to the instructor regarding student progress and accomplishments; Assists with set-up of workstations, equipment, and classrooms; Maintains safety and general order in the classroom, lab, and storage areas; Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations; Performs other duties as assigned.
