About The Position

The Staff Paramedic provides high quality patient care and safe medical transport to sick and injured patients in all age groups. Develops a plan of care for each patient that is consistent with approved treatment protocols, policies and procedures. Responsible for the operation of emergency vehicles. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Prefer at least one-year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level.
• North Carolina Paramedic certification (or eligible for reciprocity).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• ITLS or PHTLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Current and valid driver's license and must the meet requirements of the Medical Center's Insurance carrier.
• Must meet general hospital driving requirements.
• EVO is required to drive during emergency situations.
