About The Position

Paramedic Emergency Transport PRN performs pre-hospital advanced life support, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients, during transport to an HCA facility. Key duties includeoperatingan emergency vehicle, providing critical care, performing invasive procedures, and communicating patient status to receiving medical personnel. The role requires a state-licensed paramedic, with certifications such as BLS and ALS, a valid drivers license, and experience. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children's Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee. Requirements

Licensed as a Paramedic in the state where the job islocated.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
At least one year of field paramedic experience with an EMS agency or clinical experience in a hospital setting isrequired.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record (typically no more than six points in the last seven years) arerequired.
Completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
