About The Position

The Paramedic will be responsible for providing Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care, Advanced Life Support (ALS) patient care, and ambulance transportation. This role requires a commitment to service excellence and adherence to organizational standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience.
• Georgia Paramedic License required.
• ACLS Certification.
• Driver's License.
• Healthcare Provider (CPR).

Responsibilities

• Maintains units and equipment in a clean, organized and ready condition after each response.
• Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations in conjunction with a partner.
• Ensures proper fuel, fluid and tire pressure levels at all times.
• Responsible for knowledge of state, federal and regulatory agency rules and regulations.
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of local geography.
• Acts as a resource to students, new employees and other personnel.
• Completes all daily station duties and maintains crew quarters in neat and serviceable conditions.
• Responds to all assigned calls in the most appropriate, safe and efficient manner.
• Provides ALS patient care in accordance with established ACLS and BTLS guidelines.
• Completes appropriate medical records and transportation reports.
