About The Position

Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032. Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly - (3) 12-hour Night shifts 7pm-7am, including weekends. Training: Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington during 8am-5pm the first 1-5 days of hire. Emergency Department Highlights: Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff. Supportive team environment. New and advanced equipment and technology.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required.
  • 1 year of paramedic experience in EMS or fire department strongly preferred.
  • EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required upon hire.
  • LP - Licensed Paramedic required upon hire.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually.
  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to perform basic computer skills.
