Requirements

High School Diploma, or equivalent
Completion of basic arrhythmia course
Current EMT or Paramedic certification
BLS Required
Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital or ambulance setting.
Good communication and people skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent clinical skills appropriate for an EMT or Paramedic

Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful

Responsibilities

The ED Paramedic assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within his/her scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.
