Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, wound care, Foley catheter insertion, and airway management. Transport patients and place them on cardiac and vital sign monitors. Obtain and process lab specimens. Document procedures and observations; promptly communicate patient needs to licensed clinicians. Assist with medication administration and emergency response under clinician direction. Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care settings. Support and reinforce patient/family education and document learning outcomes. Process daily patient charges and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR). Facilitate communication between physicians, staff, and EMS systems. Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure equipment functionality. Perform patient positioning and transport using proper body mechanics. Provide age-appropriate care based on developmental and clinical needs.
