About The Position

The Paramedic position at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, OH is a full-time role scheduled for 36 weekly hours with rotating weekend and holiday availability required. The primary shift time is during evenings and nights. The Paramedic responds to routine transport requests and emergency 911 calls, assists in securing accident scenes, determines the nature and extent of illness/injury, establishes priority for required emergency care, and renders care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities also include establishing radio communications with medical facilities, completing run reports, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and performing various duties in the Emergency Room under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
