Emory Healthcare EMS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our Quick Response Team. The successful candidate will be highly proactive and self-driven to respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency 911 calls and provide critical care transports. This role demands leadership, collaboration, quick decision-making, outstanding clinical skills, and the ability to operate efficiently in diverse environments. Primary duties and responsibilities: Emergency Response & Patient Care: 1. Respond effectively to emergency and non-emergency 911 calls in Houston County, GA, and surrounding areas. 2. Provide advanced pre-hospital assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients in various settings. 3. Ensure safe and efficient care during transfer of critically ill or injured patients to designated medical facilities. 4. Demonstrate proficiency in airway management, IV therapy, advanced cardiac life support, and other critical care procedures. Operations & Equipment: 1. Operate and maintain emergency response vehicles, always ensuring readiness. Documentation & Communication: 1. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient care and transport activities. 2. Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical teams, and receiving facilities. Compliance and Professional Standards: 1. Adhere to all EMS policies, procedures, and safety protocols. 2. Engage in continuous education and skills development to stay current with industry standards.
