About The Position

The Senior Paralegal role at OpenAI is a critical position within the Litigation and Regulatory team, focusing on supporting litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters. This position requires collaboration across various teams within the organization and aims to enhance operational efficiency through process development and improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience as a litigation paralegal on complex matters at an innovative technology company, law firm, or in-house legal department.
• A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in the face of ambiguity.
• Interest in OpenAI's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Drive case management support including case team coordination and outside counsel management.
• Conduct fact investigations by collaborating with teams/individuals throughout the company, including document and data identification/collection and witness management.
• Execute legal preservation efforts and track legal holds.
• Develop and drive processes and programs that help the team operate more efficiently.
