We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel and business teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with significant experience in commercial contract review and drafting, as well as claims management. This individual will play a key role in managing the company’s contracting workflow, supporting litigation and claims, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Draft, review and redline a wide range of commercial agreements
  • Manage full contract lifecycle processes, from initiation through execution and renewal/termination
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance, ensuring obligations are tracked and documented
  • Maintain and improve the company’s contract management system, templates, and knowledge repositories
  • Support General Counsel in handling claims management
  • Coordinate with insurers, adjusters, and outside counsel to ensure timely handling of claims
  • Assist with case management for active litigation, including research, discovery, and trial/arbitration preparation
  • Review and analyze claim files, prepare reports, and recommend strategies for resolution or defense
  • Build and maintain organized databases and legal files
  • Prepare written reports, correspondence, and presentations
  • Provide broad support for corporate and strategic projects
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company and client information in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or certificate program in paralegal studies
  • 5+ years of experience as a transactional paralegal, legal administrator or in-house corporate paralegal
  • Thorough knowledge of legal principles, practices, terminology, and research techniques
  • In depth knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with legal and business software systems (e.g., contract management, claims systems, Microsoft Office)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing projects while exercising sound judgment
  • Paralegal certification
  • Experience in claims management is strongly preferred
