About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Managed Care Specialists/Paralegals to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of TennCare (TN TennCare) located in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The position is a hybrid one in downtown Nashville, TN. The contractor will work on-site and remotely based on the team's schedule. The position is a contract one for 12 months with an opportunity to be extended. Training is extensive, up to 6 weeks prescheduled, virtual/in-office (by supervisor request), and contractors must attend training every day to build proficiency. NO preplanned time off will be approved during training weeks . MUST be local to middle TN and able to work in the client's office in Nashville as needed.

Requirements

  • MUST have a bachelor's or associate degree.
  • Proven technical skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet specific deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong notetaking, email organization and distribution skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • MUST be local to middle TN and able to work in the client's office in Nashville as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in Paralegal studies is preferred.
  • Work experience in a legal environment is preferred.
  • Customer service or call center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Determining individual and family eligibility for client's care programs.
  • Assisting in coordinating and communicating schedules to internal/external clients.
  • Conducting client interviews, collecting facts and information, and compiling case data to provide recommendations to an attorney.
  • Timely management of casework, including proper documentation and case resolution.
  • Providing legal research, analysis of legal papers, and drafting legal documents; documenting findings accurately.
  • Working efficiently/effectively in multiple databases to extract information.
  • Attending workgroup meetings and participating in discussions.
  • Assisting leadership team, as necessary.
