This is a remote position located in AZ, NM or NV. OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY The Paralegal-Transactions is responsible for assisting the Legal Department in all phases of legal transactions, including contracts, grant agreements, financial transactions, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, and more. The Paralegal-Transactions is a cross-functional position and will maintain general responsibilities in contract management, mergers, acquisitions, and transactions, litigation, maintenance of the Legal Department systems, and support to the Legal Department attorneys and staff in all areas as needs arise. Paralegal Transactions will ensure an exceptional level of client service is provided at all times and will work with minimum supervision in performing the day-to-day work responsibilities. The Paralegal Transactions will partner with their peers in providing legal services to their internal clients - the employees at Chicanos Por La Causa who empower lives through five pillars of service: Integrated Health & Human Service, Education & Social Services, Economic Development, Housing and Advocacy. Paralegal Transactions is responsible for assisting to ensure that the services CPLC provides follow all federal, state, local laws and regulations, certifications, licensing and funding requirements.
