Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive In-house Paralegal with 5-10 years’ experience in a corporate legal environment. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional expertise in contract and litigation/claims administration, legal research and general legal issues involving commercial product sales, marketing, regulatory, and customer support. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, this role partners closely with other legal team members and business stakeholders to deliver strategic legal support, streamline processes, and mitigate risk across the organization.

  • Draft, review and manage a wide variety of commercial sales, service and installation agreements including administering contract-lifecycle management systems and assisting with the standardization of template agreements and streamlining approval workflows.
  • Manage intake, tracking and reporting of litigation and claims and service of process, assist with information gathering and initial claim responses, and coordinate discovery responses and settlement documentation.
  • Initial review of marketing collateral and external product related publications and information gathering for customer product related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product, and finance to align legal strategies with business goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies or related field and Certified Paralegal (CP) or Professional Paralegal (PP) credentials preferred, but not necessary.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of in-house experience, ideally in a large-sized corporation or in a law firm focusing on commercial clients and litigation.
  • Strong track record drafting, editing and managing a variety of commercial contracts including experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Work – track changes and macros, Excel – pivot tables, PowerPoint).
  • In depth experience with sales, service, installation, marketing, and litigation matters.
  • Experience in designing and implementing legal-process efficiencies (e.g., contract review SLAs, automated approvals, etc.).
  • Strong communication and people skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across departments and various levels of leadership.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and proactive mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
