About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), this mid-level role plays a critical part in supporting the company's corporate legal operations. The ideal candidate brings 5 or more years of in-house or law firm experience with a strong focus on corporate legal matters and contract management, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of paralegal experience, preferably within an in-house legal department or corporate law firm practice.
  • Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding various corporate contracts.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a CLO or General Counsel directly.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage a broad range of contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and licensing agreements.
  • Maintain and organize the company's contract lifecycle management system, tracking key dates, renewals, and obligations.
  • Support the CLO in corporate governance matters, including maintaining entity records, preparing board and committee meeting materials, and filing corporate documents.
  • Coordinate with internal business partners (e.g., Finance, Technology, HR, Affiliates ) to facilitate timely contract review and execution.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings on corporate, and regulatory topics as needed.
  • Assist in matters concerning regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with due diligence processes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain legal department records, templates, and filing systems.
  • Manage outside counsel relationships and coordinate on specific matters as directed by the CLO.
  • Identify opportunities to improve legal department processes and workflows.
