About The Position
MARKS, O'NEILL, O'BRIEN, DOHERTY & KELLY, a premier insurance defense law firm, is seeking to hire a Paralegal experienced in Insurance Defense for our Towson, MD office. This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Philadelphia Law and will be responsible for a variety of essential functions that support our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will be tasked with the preparation of pleadings, including answers to complaints and motions. You will also be responsible for preparing and monitoring the case calendar, ensuring compliance with deadlines for multiple clients. A significant part of your role will involve reviewing medical records and preparing summaries, as well as preparing settlement forms, sending out settlement packages, and updating settlement charts. The ability to track and meet deadlines is crucial in this position, as it directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal services.
