About The Position

Wealth Enhancement is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our team. This role will support our in-house legal team with a focus on complex legal matters of a growing firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on intricate legal matters, including employment agreements, litigation support, acquisition due diligence, and internal investigations. Ideal candidates will bring strong organizational skills, legal research capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to help ensure our policies and practices align with evolving employment regulations and business needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Associate's degree with a Paralegal certificate and 3-5 years’ experience considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in daily work schedule to meet company/client needs during periods of heavy workload
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

  • Support the drafting and negotiation of company agreements
  • Draft and review agreements including nondisclosure, real estate and vendor agreements from approved forms for review by attorneys and internal business partners
  • Collaborate with internal business departments to collect data required for completion of agreements
  • Correspond with contract counterparties to ensure timely completion of agreements
  • Prepare agreement summaries for use by internal business partners
  • Provide administrative, general corporate and legal research support to the legal team
  • Coordinate execution and filing of agreements and other legal documents
  • Assist in administering company insurance programs to ensure insurance policies are current and curated
  • Conduct research using resources such as internal legal documents, online databases and other legal reference sources
  • Assist in privacy and information security compliance
  • Support legal review and research related to data protection policies, privacy notices, and infosec protocols
  • Coordinate with IT and compliance teams to ensure legal alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and incident response plans
  • Assist attorneys with due diligence review of acquisition targets
  • Support legal integration activities for all acquired businesses, including tracking and completion of required post-closing legal deliverables
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals
