The New York Times Company seeks an experienced paralegal to join its Legal Department. The paralegal will play an important role in the Media Law and Litigation team, which represents the company in intellectual property, media law, and commercial litigation matters. Because the department handles much of its litigation in-house, the position requires someone with the experience and ability to support hands-on litigation and discovery work. The team also manages the company's intellectual property, including the registration and enforcement of our copyrights and trademarks. Familiarity with intellectual property law and experience with the registration and management of copyrights is therefore preferred. The position is based in New York with the expectation that the paralegal will be in the office at least three days a week. You will report to the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel.
