Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence in managing people, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Law firm experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented paralegals and legal support staff
  • Onboard, train, and evaluate team members
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Provide coaching and implement performance improvement plans when needed
  • Assign work and balance caseloads across practice groups
  • Ensure deadlines are met, and quality remains high
  • Create and refine processes that improve efficiency and consistency
  • Partner with attorneys to anticipate staffing and support needs
  • Track productivity and identify opportunities to work smarter
  • Oversee drafting, filings, discovery, and case management support
  • Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
  • Step in on complex matters, trials, or high-priority projects
  • Maintain standards that reflect the firm’s commitment to quality and client service
  • Manage schedules, coverage, and resource planning
  • Recommend tools, technology, and training that elevate performance
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on department strategy and growth
