This position will report to the Deputy General Counsel and will support general liability and labor & employment claims and litigation and will work directly with multiple attorneys on the legal team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized General Liability and Labor & Employment Paralegal to support the in-house Legal Team handling a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, labor & employment and other areas as assigned.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
8+ years of litigation experience, preferably in the areas of general liability, personal injury, and/or labor & employment law.
Experience with discovery, document management, litigation hold development and tracking, and case management.
Ability to interact with all levels of management, both in the corporate environment and at the park level.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with online legal research, online document management, e-billing and legal hold systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with complex litigation, such as class or collective actions or multiple plaintiff claims, is preferred.
Experience working in an in-house legal environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in the management of claims and litigation in a wide range of areas including general liability, wage and hour, employment discrimination, labor, premises liability, and regulatory liability including all other general areas.
Assist with all aspects of case management from inception through discovery and trial preparation including:
Ensure that deadlines are met and internal reporting is completed timely.
Manage case calendars and track litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, and internal meetings.
Review billing documents and case reporting from outside counsel.
Assist with the development and execution of litigation holds.
Manage service of process and open new files in the Company’s online litigation management system.
Manage other projects as required or assigned.
