About The Position

The Paralegal – Litigation is responsible for the structured execution of litigation support functions to ensure case progression, compliance with deadlines, and billing support within established legal and operational frameworks. This role directly impacts attorney productivity, case throughput, and revenue realization through disciplined execution of support tasks, document control, and workflow coordination. Core Accountabilities 1. Litigation Support Execution Accountable for accurate and timely execution of assigned litigation support tasks. This includes: Drafting standard pleadings, discovery shells, and correspondence Preparing filing packages for court submission Organizing exhibits and supporting documentation Assisting in preparation of motions and case materials Formatting and proofreading legal documents 2. Deadline & Calendar Control Accountable for maintaining accurate tracking and execution of litigation deadlines. This includes: Maintaining case calendars and deadline tracking Monitoring court dates, filings, and response deadlines Confirming completion of scheduled tasks Escalating risks prior to deadline failure 3. File & Document Control Accountable for maintaining organized, complete, and audit-ready case files. This includes: Managing digital and physical case files Ensuring all documents are properly labeled and stored Maintaining version control Updating case records in PracticePanther 4. Discovery & Evidence Coordination Accountable for supporting structured discovery and document management. This includes: Drafting and organizing discovery requests and responses Managing document production and indexing Reviewing materials for completeness Coordinating evidence collection 5. Billing & Time Capture Support Accountable for supporting accurate billing through proper task execution and documentation. This includes: Recording task activity within case systems Supporting attorneys with documentation needed for billing Ensuring all completed work is reflected in case records Identifying unbilled work activity

Requirements

  • 3+ years litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation process
  • Experience with: Discovery management
  • Experience with: Court filings and deadlines
  • Experience with: Trial preparation
