The Litigation practice advises on complex commercial litigation; cross-border disputes; practical and creative solutions to regulatory, compliance and enforcement issues; and government and internal investigations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Job Summary The Paralegal, Litigation is eager to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and responsible for performing a variety of tasks during all phases of litigations and investigations. This role works under the direction of an experienced attorney or Senior Paralegal/Case Manager.

  • Detail-oriented, working with appropriate controls to ensure end-to-end project completion and proofreading work product

  • Ability to proofread for contextual, grammatical and spelling errors
  • Flexibility to work late and on holidays/weekends, and travel when necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Maintain well-organized files and case records
  • Update case management platforms and databases and categorize documents for efficient access
  • Create case calendars, manage case deadlines and distribute case materials
  • Retrieve and prepare case/investigation materials as needed by case/investigation teams
  • Prepare documents for filing, including proofreading, formatting and compiling exhibits and appendices
  • Arrange filing and service deliveries with appropriate government agencies, courts and opposing/other parties
  • Assist with document collection and production, including preparation, exporting, redaction, duplication and indexing
  • Conduct research from a variety of resources such as newspapers, magazines, libraries, case documents and trade associations, and internal and external document databases and systems
  • Liaise with internal departments and outside vendors
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by case/investigation teams
  • Be flexible to adjust hours to meet departmental need
