Paralegal - Insurance Litigation - Charleston

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Paralegal - Insurance Litigation for our Charleston, SC office. This position involves insurance litigation, construction litigation and personal injury claims work.
Requirements
- Three or more years' experience working in a law firm
- Thorough understanding of the litigation process
- Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures
- Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...) and other legal software applications
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and employees at all levels of the firm
- Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements
- Stable employment history
Responsibilities
- Document management and analysis for large cases
- Medical record summaries and chronologies
- Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance
- Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests
- Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses
- Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel
- Statewide roster/docket monitoring
- Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court
- Tracks time spent on client matters and enters time in billing system in a timely matter
