Job Summary This role supports the Legal & Compliance Department by helping attorneys manage legal processes, conduct research, review documents, and support transactional work. The position focuses on organizing and preparing legal materials, analyzing issues with low to moderate complexity, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. Work is performed with growing independence and frequent interaction across teams and business units.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in a law office or corporate legal department.
  • Experience reviewing legal documents, contracts, or regulatory materials.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and insurance product structures.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, case management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience organizing large volumes of documents or supporting discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Review, organize, and prepare legal documents and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Support attorneys with business inquiries, transactions, and special projects.
  • Evaluate legal process requests and identify relevant issues.
  • Maintain accurate document management and ensure compliance with legal standards.
