Provide paralegal support to the Payor Contracting group. The focus will be on handling a broad array of drafting and reviewing payor contract agreements and amendments. This role will assist with regulatory and compliance requirements related to payor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare contracting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. JOB DESCRIPTION: · Prepare, edit, and redline payor agreements, amendments, credentialing documents, and ancillary contract forms. · Conduct initial review of contract terms for consistency with the Best Demonstrated Practices, reimbursement language, and compliance requirements. · Summarize contract terms for attorney and business team review Assist in ensuring payor agreements align with applicable federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid and CMS requirements. Researches healthcare laws and regulations. Participate in various other projects and work streams, as assigned. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned include, but are not limited to: Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; and Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures. Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position.
