For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 32 - 53 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. Requirements

  • Five plus years of relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of regulations and laws that apply to drafting welfare benefit plan documents (e.g., COBRA, ERISA).
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects or tasks at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and amend welfare benefit (e.g., medical benefits) plan documents such as summary plan descriptions and summary of benefits and coverage documents (as needed), in accordance with internal/client guidance.
  • Attend new group meetings for groups assigned.
  • Understand and apply applicable regulations and laws in the drafting of plan documents.
  • Reviews client benefit materials needed to align with organizational standards and to create plan documents.
  • Provides operational support to team members as needed and contribute consistently to daily workflow.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
