Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience and/or training in mortgage foreclosure litigation and other defaulted related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS Office Suite Knowledge a must.
  • Experiences with client systems such as BKFS, Tempo, LegalTracker, etc.
  • Experience with Real Estate/Foreclosure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Attorney’s Calendars, by scheduling deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, etc.
  • Scheduling hearings in accordance with judicial procedures and coordinating hearings with judges, opposing counsel, client, etc.
  • Filing of court pleadings (including filing of first legal action) and service of the same via E-portal and USPS.
  • Ensure judicial deadlines and client deadlines are met.
  • Other administrative task as requested by attorneys.
  • Running and review of court dockets in all circuits throughout the State of Illinois including bankruptcy court.
  • Identifying issues in foreclosure and plan of action to resolve.
  • Draft of foreclosure pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate and current information in internal case management system and providing updates to all clients via E-mail and Vendor Management Systems (LPS/Black Knight and Tempo)
  • Maintaining communication with clients, opposing counsels, judicial assistants and clerks including building & maintaining positive relations with the same.
