About The Position
McKINNON LEGAL is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting our attorneys with a variety of legal tasks, including the preparation of legal documents, filing motions, and conducting thorough legal research. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you coordinate law office activities and ensure that all legal documents are accurately prepared and filed in a timely manner. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others and has a strong background in legal services. As a paralegal, you will draft legal documents such as pleadings, interrogatories, subpoenas, and legal briefs under the guidance of our attorneys. You will also conduct client interviews to gather essential information regarding their legal issues, which will help in building strong cases. Your role will involve preparing and organizing exhibits for trial, assisting with client meetings, and coordinating with process servers to ensure that all legal procedures are followed correctly. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with organizing our case filing systems to ensure that all documents are easily accessible and properly sorted. This role requires a proactive approach to administrative duties and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of legal practice.
