Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience in preparation of Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Ability to meet billable requirements and adapt to occasional overtime
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology for research, reporting, and document preparation
  • Organized & Independent: Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in preparation of federal estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate opening of estates for administration
  • Coordinate with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and financial institutions to gather and organize necessary information
  • Prepare Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Prepare estate inventories, estate accounting, and trust accountings
  • Track and manage estate timelines and client communications
  • Communicate directly with attorneys and clients regarding estate and trust administration matters
  • Manage multiple projects d deadlines with precision and professionalism
