About The Position

Estate Planning Paralegal – St. Petersburg Zoecklein Law is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Paralegal to support our attorneys with drafting, organizing, and managing estate planning matters. This position will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of our St. Petersburg office. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in estate planning or probate (required)
  • Strong understanding of Florida estate planning documents and drafting standards
  • Excellent written, verbal, and client-service communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active matters
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with PracticePanther or similar case management systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion
  • Florida Notary Public certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • High level of accuracy and document quality control
  • Professional and compassionate client interaction
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively support attorneys
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • In-office position at our St. Petersburg location

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Revocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate designations, Living Wills, deeds, and related documents
  • Prepare trust funding materials, assignments, and asset schedules
  • Coordinate attorney meetings, client consultations, and signing ceremonies
  • Serve as a consistent and professional point of contact for estate planning clients
  • Maintain organized digital files within PracticePanther and SharePoint
  • Track and manage deadlines to ensure timely matter progression
  • Assist with notarization, witnessing requirements, and post-signing document management
  • Scan, finalize, and distribute executed estate planning documents
  • Collaborate with attorneys, intake personnel, billing, and legal assistants to ensure seamless workflow
  • Ensure compliance with Florida statutes, execution formalities, and firm protocols
