We are currently seeking a highly motivated Paralegal – Creditors' Rights Litigation for our Columbia office.

Requirements

• Two or more years' experience working in a law firm preferred.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Some knowledge of federal and state court hearing rules and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....) and other legal software applications.
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and computer skills.
• Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements.
• Stable employment history.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling
• Maintaining calendars
• Maintaining court dockets and rosters
• Data entry and maintenance of records
• Direct communication with clients
• Pleading Preparation
• Providing support to Paralegals and Attorneys as requested
• Other duties as assigned
