About The Position

Serve as paralegal for the sales portion of the Contracts team supporting four attorneys. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with reviewing and drafting a variety of contracts Manage, process, and track contracts through the entire contracts process, from concept through negotiation, creation, execution, and renewal Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal subject matter experts and business leaders, during contract review process Independently and proactively engage in outreach to key stakeholders to ensure continuous progression of contracts toward execution Develop, monitor, and present contracts-related metrics/data reports Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and attorneys, ensuring exceptional customer service and promoting attorney productivity Manage inbound internal inquiries, independently responding to internal business owner requests Assist in maintaining accurate records of all contracts and related documentation Assist in monitoring contract status post-execution, ensuring timely renewals Maintain compliance with corporate policies Provide support to attorneys Perform administrative and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Superior project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, reading, oral, and written communication and active listening skills
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely and professionally
  • Ability to work independently
  • Keen ability to manage competing urgent priorities nimbly in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
  • 1-2 years work experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or project manager
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
  • Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise
  • Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location (in a typical office environment) may be required based on role
  • Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem solving aspects aligned to job duties, as well as effectively communicating with co-workers
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
  • Able to access information using a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with contracts and contracts management software and DocuSign strongly preferred
