About The Position

Sarnova is seeking an experienced Paralegal or Contract Specialist to support its Legal Department with a primary focus on commercial contracting. This position reports directly to the Director of Legal Services and works closely with corporate attorneys and contract managers to support the drafting, negotiation, execution and administration of a broad range of commercial agreements. The role will also support litigation, intellectual property, and general legal matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, professional in demeanor, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a structured corporate environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in-house or in a law firm supporting corporate clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment and strong problem‑solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys and contract managers to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor and customer agreements, NDAs, and other transactional documents
  • Manage and support the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, extensions, and the tracking of key terms, obligations, and deliverables
  • Draft, proofread, and maintain high‑quality legal documents, templates, and standardized forms to ensure consistency and accuracy across the department
  • Coordinate contract execution using electronic signature platforms and ensure proper documentation, storage, and version control
  • Manage and enhance legal records management systems and contract databases, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient retrieval
  • Provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Legal Department, contributing to efficient workflows and seamless day‑to‑day operations
  • Support litigation and intellectual property matters, including coordination of document collection
  • Additional job duties as assigned
