The Paralegal & Risk Analyst is responsible for the development and oversight of the county’s insurance and risk management program and serves as the primary paralegal with respect to legal proceedings initiated in connection with the Department of Social Services. This position is responsible for processing general and auto liability, property damage, comprehensive and collision coverage claims, as well as navigating complex legal and procedural systems. The Paralegal and Risk Analyst works closely with all Marathon County departments , engages in risk assessment initiatives, collaborates on litigation support, and ensures legal and policy compliance. This individual contributes to the development and oversight of budgets related to insurance premiums, claims reserves, and deductibles, each of which are critical to the county’s fiscal position.
