About The Position

Classified - Paraeducator- Supervision, Student Support - Riverside Elementary School Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Requirements

• Are you willing to submit to a criminal history background check?
• Are you eligible to work in the United States?
• Do you have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent?
• Do you have an: Associates (AA) degree or higher, OR Two years of college OR Passed the district's para-educator academic assessment?
• Are you capable of working with limited supervision?
• Do you possess good communication skills with staff and students?
• Do you have the ability to apply basic computer skills?
• Do you have multi-tasking skills and the ability to be flexible?
• Do you have the ability to learn and demonstrate applied behavior plans consistently?
• Do you have the ability to be firm, fair, and consistent, under diverse student behavioral actions?
• Do you have the ability to develop good working relationships with teachers, students and parents?
• Do you have a current CPR/1st Aid certification or be willing to complete training by the start of position?
