About The Position

The Paraeducator - Special Education 1:1 position is designed to provide support to students with special needs at Auburn Mountainview High School. The role involves working closely with individual students to assist them in their educational activities and ensure they receive the necessary support to thrive in a school environment. Paraeducators are hired for specific positions, and building assignments may change based on the needs of the district. The position requires a commitment of 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, across a work calendar of 181 days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Documentation of one of the following: an AA degree or higher, 72 quarter or 48 semester credits in 100 level courses, or passing score on Washington State approved assessment
