About The Position

Under the direction of a principal, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or other learning environment Assist teachers with the preparation of instructional materials and other activities Assist students in assigned subject areas and with classroom management Attend to the physical health needs of students

Requirements

• Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to – A high school diploma, or equivalent Associate of Arts degree or higher, or greater than 48 college units, or a passing score on a test (CBEST, ParaPro, or CODESP)
